Does this sound like you?

If any of these everyday Hills District situations feel familiar, we can help.

A happy dog in our care

You leave early and get home late

Your dog shouldn’t spend the entire workday waiting for you to come home. We break up their day with a consistent walk, exercise, enrichment and one-on-one attention, so you can focus on work knowing their needs are being met.

Frankie and Caddey out on a walk

School runs, sport and errands take over

The afternoon is a blur of pick-ups, groceries and drop-offs. We take the dog walk off your list so you can be present with your family, without the 4pm guilt.

Buddy, a dog in our care

You have a guardian breed

Finding someone you actually trust to handle your dog can be harder when they need more experience and confidence. Our team understands breed traits, canine body language and appropriate handling, and we follow your existing training and handling plan rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

A cat relaxing at home on their own bed

You’re going away, but kennels aren’t right for your pet

If your pet becomes stressed in kennels or simply does better in familiar surroundings, they don’t have to leave home. We come to them, keeping their normal routine, familiar environment and comforts while providing professional care throughout your time away.

You have a new puppy who cannot be left all day

Toilet training, lunch, play and cuddles while you are at work. We keep your puppy’s routine consistent so they settle faster and training stays on track.

Why Lulu & Co

You get a real update on your pet’s day, not just confirmation that we visited.

Every visit ends with clear updates, GPS tracking and a written report - so you know your pet was walked, fed, settled and safe.

  • Photos, videos and a written report after every visit.

  • We adjust for weather, heat, surfaces, triggers and how your dog is feeling that day.

  • GPS tracking shows you the route, distance and time of every walk.

  • Your home is treated with respect - keys, alarms, gates and instructions followed exactly.

  • We meet your pet first and follow the routine and handling plan that already works.

  • Dogs are not grouped together unless it suits each individual dog.

  • The same small team visits your pet, so they see familiar faces every time.

  • Safety, comfort and your pet’s wellbeing come before convenience or profit.

  • We notice changes in energy, appetite, movement, mood and body language.

Meet the founder

Hi, I’m Vee,Founder of Lulu & Co Pet Care

I founded Lulu & Co Pet Care in 2021 for pet parents who want more than someone to simply check in on their pet. They want to know their dog is understood, cared for properly and with someone they can genuinely trust.

With over a decade of hands-on experience, I have built the knowledge, routines and high standards behind the care our clients receive. From puppies learning new routines to senior pets needing extra patience and comfort, we tailor our care to what each pet needs to feel safe and settled.

I also have experience supporting nervous and sensitive dogs, guardian breeds, rehomed pets and pets used to a high level of comfort and familiarity. We take the time to understand the small details that matter, rather than treating every pet the same.

The Lulu & Co team is guided by the same level of care I would want for my own dog: dependable support, clear communication and people who genuinely get to know your pet.

Through lived experience, ongoing education and a strong commitment to raising the bar when it comes to animal welfare, we’ve built care you can rely on.

Real Results For Real Parents

Kiki, a black Labrador

From being let down to thriving

Kiki’s owners were stretched between full-time jobs and two toddlers, and inconsistent midday walks were undoing the progress she’d made with her trainer.

We took over her daily walks and built them around her existing training plan - reinforcing her lead skills every single visit rather than letting them slide.

Photo and video updates after every walk kept her owners across her progress without having to ask.

Kiki is now calmer, more focused on the lead, and visibly excited when her Pet Nanny arrives.

Clio and Casper, two Australian Shepherds

From re-homed to spoiled rotten…

Clio and Casper are dog reactive Australian Shepherds who’d just been rehomed. Their owner was heading away for the first time and genuinely didn’t know how they’d cope.

Before the stay we spent time learning their triggers, handling preferences, and daily routines inside out.

No regression. No stress behaviours. Two settled dogs in their own home - exactly as she’d left them.

Ted, a grey poodle cross

Boredom Buster

Ted’s owner works long office hours, leaving him home alone for extended stretches of the day. While friendly, Ted is selective about who he socialises with, which made finding the right support even more important.

We introduced fun visits to break up his day - including scent work and obedience training. Ted now looks forward to his visits, greets Vee with excitement, and is noticeably more settled throughout the afternoon. His owner has peace of mind knowing he’s not just exercised - but genuinely understood.

Testimonials

Laura’s small brown spaniel wearing a collar, outside on the grass

We honestly couldn’t ask for better care for our dog. The level of professionalism and knowledge really stands out. I love that they also reinforce training and obedience skills, do health checks and we get photo and video updates every time.

Communication is always clear and reliable, which means we never have to worry. It’s such a relief knowing our dog is in safe, experienced hands.

Highly recommend if you’re looking for a trustworthy and professional dog walker.

Common questions

The questions Hills District pet parents ask us first

Handing someone your house key and your dog is a big deal. Here are the honest answers.

A happy pet in our care

Our walks are designed around your dog’s overall wellbeing - not just exercise. Before every walk we assess your dog’s body language, energy levels and emotional state so we can adjust the pace, environment and level of stimulation accordingly. Some dogs need a calm structured walk, others benefit from breed specific enrichment and exploration. Our team is trained to read canine body language and behaviour, which allows us to recognise subtle changes in mood, stress levels and confidence - and respond appropriately. Lulu & Co is also proudly an all-female team of trained Pet Nannies, selected for their experience, reliability and ability to safely handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Every Walkies Club visit reinforces good lead skills, provides appropriate mental stimulation, and allows us to monitor changes in your dog’s behaviour, health and confidence over time. Because a tired dog isn’t always a balanced dog - but a well-supported one is.
